And not only that: even in confined spaces, the wheel loader delivers first-class work results, impressive down the line. Beside high levels of working comfort and outstanding safety standards, the WL20 wheel loader offers exceptional maneuverability, off-road capability and speed, saving space in application.

Tiltable cabin and optimal service access

The cab can be tilted to the side. This allows easy access to the engine, hydraulic system, and electronics. This considerably simplifies checking and maintaining the machine. This in turn results in reduced machine downtimes and thus lower operating costs.
Quick and easy serviceability automatically maximize the availability of the machine. This in turn reduces total operating costs.

The wheel loader as an attachment carrier

The tasks for wheel loaders are varied and so are the attachments from Wacker Neuson. With our comprehensive and sophisticated product range of attachments, any model can become a multifunctional machine.
The investment asset “wheel loader” can be used for a variety of task areas and is thus very economical.
The machine can be used all year round (e.g. even for winter service), relying on many different attachments depending on the application.

EPS folding overhead guard (Easy Protection System)

Compact wheel loaders can be equipped with the fold-down operator's canopy EPS (Easy Protection System). This complies with the current European Machinery Directive according to ROPS and FOPS protection. With a few hand movements, the EPS can be prepared manually for a low clearance height.
EPS increases the flexibility of the machine, as it can even pass through low passages. Also, the application areas of the machine are expanded. In other cases where several machines might have to be used, just one machine can get the work done. At the same time, the operator’s safety remains guaranteed.

Maximum traction thanks to articulated pendulum joint

Because of the articulated pendulum joint with 12° oscillating angle, all four wheels retain excellent traction, even on uneven ground conditions and the operator maintains optimal control. This increases the productivity of the entire machine system.
The large articulation and pendulum angle ensures high traction on the ground, making the machine easy to maneuver. As a result, there is no collision between the front and rear sections of the machine in confined conditions.
And because the front and rear carriages can oscillate independently of each other, the operator can sensitively react to any unevenness. This increases operator comfort and enables fatigue-free work over longer periods.

Selectable operator's cab

Depending on the machine, different operator's cabs are available: fixed operator's canopy, fold-down operator's canopy EPS, hydraulically lowerable EPS Plus and different cab versions. Selecting the right operator's cab allows maximum flexibility for a great variety of applications and framework conditions.

High-quality powder coating

Compared to conventional wet painting, powder coating significantly extends the service life of the machine and is environmentally friendly at the same time.
The durable powder coating guarantees value retention and ensures an accordingly high resale value for the machine.

Two powerful lifting cylinders

Two powerful lift cylinders ensure that the load distribution is always optimally changed over to the load arm. Also, the overall loading system gains stability, which supports the operator in application.
In combination with two lift cylinders, the torsion-resistant load arm prevents, to the greatest extent possible, damage to the loading system caused by torsion. This reduces possible service costs and the value retention of the machine is increased.

100 % connectible differential lock

The connectible 100% differential lock provides maximum traction and thrusting power when needed. It also keeps tire wear low. This increases the efficiency of the machine.
During normal operation the differential lock is deactivated, this provides safety, low wear and, as a result, saves in operating costs.

Perfectly tuned P-kinematics

The advantage of the P-kinematics is the exact parallel guidance over the entire stroke range.
Unintentional coasting is not possible, which makes handling for the driver easy and safe.
P-kinematics are used in compact machines and are the optimal choice here, as they are less expensive than Z-kinematics, for example. Z-kinematics would be oversized for compact machines, since compact machines are generally not used for continuous and heavy material handling.

Compact dimensions for optimal maneuverability

The compact design of the machine is impressive with its small radius and excellent maneuverability. This means that even work in confined spaces is no problem.
Compact dimensions and optimum maneuverability ensure a high degree of control. The machine is not unnecessarily wide or long; the space available and the size of the machine are always optimally utilized.

Optimum tires

The right tires for a wheel loader play an important role in actual use. If the tires are optimally matched to the ground and the area of application, the driver can work with the machine without any problems.
Choosing the right tires provides maximum traction as well as minimal wear, which saves money because tires don't need to be changed frequently.
To achieve optimal performance on any subbase, seven treads are available for selection depending on model: EM tread, AS tread, SureTrax tread, RP tread, MPT tread, multi-use tread and Bibload tread. This ensures the maximum flexibility of the machine ex work.

In addition, the engine, drive system, operator's cab, or hydraulics can be individually configured depending on application and model. It is always guaranteed that the machine meets individual requirements and preferences.

Transport on car trailer

Save time and transport costs: Thanks to the compact dimensions and low weight, the machines can be transported easily by car trailer.
The tie-downs are attached to the machine so that transport can be secured in compliance with the relevant industry standards.
Depending on the machine type and equipment, transport can also include the attachment.

Comfortable Cab

The spacious and comfortable cab meets the current European Machinery Directive in accordance with ROPS and FOPS protection and offers plenty of headroom and freedom of movement. This provides an excellent overview of the attachments, the immediate working area, and the entire machine surroundings, which in turn increases occupational safety as the operator always has the machine surroundings within view.
The cab's full glazing and deeply recessed windows give the operator an excellent view of the attachment and the entire work area. This ensures safety, as the operator always has a clear view of the work environment.
The cab impresses with outstanding ergonomics, generous space and many individual adjustment options for the operator. The cab provides protection from wind, weather, and external environmental conditions. This allows fatigue-free work even over a longer period of time.

Easily accessible machine components.

Regularly lubricating all lubrication points is essential for the correct and effective maintenance and thereby the value retention of the machine. To save time and make work easier, the lubrication points on Wacker Neuson wheel loaders are always in an easily accessible position.
Since the lubrication points are easily accessible, the machine is lubricated more often than if the lubrication points are located in a position that is difficult to access. This in turn increases the longevity of the machine and increases value retention.

Split hydraulic hoses

Wacker Neuson wheel loaders are designed with short hydraulic hose lengths in mind, and the hoses are split at several points. Therefore, if a hydraulic hose needs replacing, only the affected part will need to be replaced, not the entire hose in the hydraulic circuit. This speeds up repair times enormously and is also cost-efficient.

Inch brake pedal: Engine output where it is needed.

1. No pressure on inch brake pedal: full power for the drive system 2. Slightly depressed inch-brake pedal: speed is reduced, more power to the work hydraulics. 3. Firmly depressed brake-inch pedal: The speed is reduced further, even more power to the work hydraulics. 4. Fully depressed inch-brake pedal: the wheel loader stands still, full power to the work hydraulics.
The advantages of the inch-brake pedal are obvious: less wear on the operating brake and optimum power distribution of the engine output.

Rear hydraulic connections

The machine can be equipped with rear hydraulic connections (single or double-acting). This increases the machine's range of applications because rear hydraulic attachments or tipper trailers can also be operated.
The various rear hydraulic options expand the machine's range of applications and offer more flexibility in use. One machine can be used multifunctionally for different activities, no additional vehicles or machines are needed.
