Simple, proven design offering performance and reliability The Trelawny 1B light duty needle/chisel scaler is the perfect tool for smaller applications where a lightweight, easy-to-handle tool is required. It is ideal for cleaning welds and accessing tight and hard-to-access areas for scaling and cleaning. The “B” series of needle/chisel scalers feature a simple, robust design offering reliable, long-lasting service and performance. Offered as both needle and chisel models or as a kit with both attachments for multiple applications.

Flat Tips Needles

The flat tip needles will reduce marking on metal surfaces and can actually give a polishing finish.
For use on thin gauge metals and any surface where light treatment is required.
2mm needle used on a welding joint produces a similar effect to shot peening, reducing stress in the weld.

Stainless Steel Needles

Available in 3mm flat tip form only, to be used in applications such as the refurbishment of food processing machinery or areas of high humidity where the corrosive effect on needles would be prohibitive. Used on decorative concrete surfaces where contamination of the surface from carbon steel needles is undesirable.
