Machine MCKolibricsbk is a professional equipment designed for longitudinal cutting of cores of any composition and is widely used in petrophysical laboratories and core storages.
The cutting tool is a diamond disc with a diameter of 450 mm. Adjustable stepless feed speed and spindle speed allow you to select the optimal cutting mode for any type of stone and cut in one pass, eliminating cracking and washing of the sample.
The pneumatic clamping device, equipped with a displacement mechanism, reliably, without damage, fixes the core with a diameter of 50 to 120 mm and allows you to set the cutting geometry from 1/2 to 1/3 of the core diameter, and modern linear guides provide high accuracy and smoothness of the cut.
The machine uses a closed cooling cycle, but the possibility of dry cutting is also provided. Water is supplied directly to the cutting tool from a cascade bath, which serves as a sludge sump.
