Behringer SLB240A Automatic Bandsaw

The SLB240A from Behringer is a fully automatic bandsaw designed for easy operation and maximum reliability. It is ideally suited for single and serial cuts of pipes, profiles and solid materials made of metal and comparable plastics. At the same time, it impresses with its precision and smooth running.

• Automatic Material Feeding
  A hydraulically operated feeding gripper positions the material for series cuts. The cutting length is set using a stop that is positioned by an electrically driven spindle. Feed length and number of cuts can be programmed in the control. The automatic cycle is ended after the target number of cuts has been reached or when the material has ended.

• Robust Material Vice with Quick-Clamping Device
  The material is clamped by a robust vice with a hydraulic quick-clamping device. The vice is adjusted to the material width using a handwheel. In semi-automatic operation, the material is then clamped using a short-stroke hydraulic cylinder.

• Precise Band Guides
  Combination of roller and carbide guide of the saw band. Adjustment of the movable band guide according to the cutting width.

• Coolant System
  The machine is equipped with 2 regulated coolant nozzles. The coolant tank can be removed for easy cleaning

• NC Program Control
  Modern programmable logic controller with clear masks on the LCD display for simple and safe manual and automatic operation. It is possible to enter a maximum of 10 jobs with pre-selection of the cut length, number of pieces and the trim-cut length.

• Frequency-Controlled Saw Drive
  offers maximum flexibility when sawing different material grades such as stainless steel or aluminum. The cutting speed can be adjusted infinitely variable.

• Hydraulic Saw Feed
  The saw feed is hydraulically controlled with an infinitely adjustable feed rate. The lifting and lowering of the saw frame is controlled by push buttons.

• Saw Band Tensioning
  The saw band is tensioned manually. The setting of the correct tensioning force is displayed optically. In order to prevent overloading during the sawing process, the pressure is equalized by means of a pretensioned disc spring package. In the event of a band break, the sawing machine switches off automatically.
